The scientific and organising committee organized a programme which has as its main theme "Transcultural Nursing in Europe: Current Practice and Future Challenges" which gave space to four subthemes:
  1. European and global transcultural nursing futures
  2. Current research in transcultural nursing and health within Europe
  3. Current educational approaches in transcultural nursing and health
  4. Migration of nurses within Europe
Turkiye has been a cradle of civilisation and culture in every stage of mankind's enchanting existence. Izmir was established at least 5000 years ago and Alexander the Great was told by Aristo, the philosopher, the following "If you do not see Smyrna you remain lacking".
The combination of the scientific and innovative program together with the social activities planned for the Izmir Conference offered you all the possibilities to strengthen scientific collaboration, renew friendships, and enjoy the city of Izmir.
Sincerely yours,
Candan Öztürk
