After qualifying in Germany 1996, I moved to Switzerland and worked on a general surgical ward in the Canton Hospital Aarau for 18 months. I then moved to London where I worked for three years on the adult intensive care unit at the Royal Brompton Hospital. I then moved to Kings College Hospital Accident and Emergency department for 2 and half years. In 2003 I moved to Whitechapel Walk in Centre in Tower Hamlets where during my 4 years I worked towards becoming a nurse practitioner, as well acting as lead nurse for a time and team leader. In 2008 I moved again to my current position at the University Hospital Basel.
